ViroSafe and Aqualife Products.

The genesis of ViroSafe began over 20 years  ago in the remote Aboriginal community of Yalata- approximately 200kms west of Ceduna in SA and 300 kms east of Eucla in WA in the middle of Australia's infamous Nullarbor Plain..

The Government had installed rain water tanks to improve the reserve of drinking water. The children found this precious resource an excellent swimming pool ! Needless to say diarrhea exploded within the community affecting in particular the local teaching staff.  Aqualife Products (Australia) Pty Ltd , a specialised compact reverse osmosis manufacturing Australian company that had supplied water treatment systems into Yalata, was counselled. Aqualife recommended ultraviolet sterilisation which was subsequently installed on all drinking points throughout the community. The investment was successful and initiated the link between Aqualife water treatment systems and the potential use of ultraviolet light technology.

The relationship between Aqualife and UV technology was ignited with the arrival of the coronavirus pandemic in 2020. This stimulated the creation of the separate operating division of ViroSafe.
